With Radiesse® it is now possible to turn back the hands of time and restore youth to the hands once more. Radiesse is a filler that we gently inject into the back of the hands to cleverly restore youthful volume by concealing bones and veins. It has the added benefit of smoothing wrinkly lax skin and last up to 18 months.
Unlike most other fillers, Radiesse® continues to work over time due to its patented microsphere technology as it initiates a process called collagenesis. This essentially stimulates the production of new collagen to grow around the treated area so you will benefit from longer lasting results.
Radiesse® is made from a biocompatible substance, calcium hydroxylapatite, that is identical to what is naturally found in the body, the calcium-based microspheres are suspended in a water-based gel. Radiesse® has been clinically tested extensively for years, with excellent safety and efficacy results. It has received CE mark certification, two FDA approvals, and a number of FDA clearances.
Skin blemishes and age-spots are the give away signs of ageing and sun-damage. In clinic at the Mayfair Practice we use the power of ELOS technology to help remove areas of pigmentation on the back of hands to restore youthfulness.
IPL SRA (Skin Rejuvenation Advance) is a non-invasive, non-ablative method for rejuvenating photo-aged skin and uses light and electrical energies to restore skin to a more youthful state. It can only be used on light skin tones, however rough skin texture will also improve over a series of treatments.
