Polynucleotides Treatment

Polynucleotides are powerful biostimulatory molecules derived from purified DNA fragments (often sourced from salmon or trout), designed to stimulate deep skin regeneration at a cellular level. Unlike dermal fillers, which add volume, polynucleotides work by restoring skin function, improving hydration, elasticity, and structure over time.

They are ideal for clients seeking a natural, regenerative approach to skin ageing, especially those with sensitive or fragile skin.

Polynucleotides act as biological messengers, encouraging skin cells (fibroblasts) to produce collagen and elastin, while also improving microcirculation and reducing inflammation. This leads to:

  • Increased skin hydration and plumpness
  • Reduced fine lines and crepiness
  • Improved tone and texture
  • Strengthened skin barrier
  • Enhanced healing and reduced redness

They are especially effective for delicate areas such as under the eyes, neck, décolletage, and even for improving the appearance of scars or rosacea-prone skin.

Polynucleotide treatments are administered via microinjections into the superficial dermis, often using a fine needle or cannula, depending on the treatment area.

What to expect:

  • Numbing cream may be applied for comfort
  • The product is precisely placed in targeted zones
  • Mild swelling or redness may occur but typically settles within 24–48 hours
  • No significant downtime, and makeup can often be worn the next day

Results build gradually, with visible improvements typically noticed after 2–3 sessions, spaced a few weeks apart. Skin appears firmer, healthier, and more radiant with a natural, refreshed look.
