How it works
- Each hair follicle consists of three main anatomical structures and can grow from different depths within the skin. Soprano ICE Platinum’s Trio Clustered Diode Technology combines the 3 most effective laser wavelengths for hair removal, simultaneously targeting all structures within the hair follicle at all depths.
- Different hair and skin types also respond best to different laser wavelengths. Soprano ICE Platinum incorporates the benefits of multiple wavelengths and technologies, providing a customised treatment session for every patient. Please note white hair is the most difficult hair to treat, so results are limited.
- The SHR is an in-motion technology, which delivers a high repetition rate of short pulses deep into the dermis, the safest option for darker skins. This gradually heats the skin to a temperature that effectively damages the hair follicles and prevents hair from growing back. Most other lasers and IPLs deliver a single more painful high-energy pulse, which exposes the skin to a higher risk of trauma, hypopigmentation and burns.

Preparing for Your Laser Hair Removal Treatment
To ensure your laser hair removal treatment is both effective and comfortable, we kindly ask you to follow the preparation guidelines below. These steps are essential for achieving optimal results and maintaining the safety of your skin.
Shaving: Please shave the treatment area the evening before or the morning of your appointment. Unshaven skin may prevent us from being able to proceed with treatment.
Sun Exposure: Refrain from sunbathing or prolonged sun exposure for at least 48 hours before and after your session. Tanned or sun-sensitive skin may increase the risk of irritation.
Sun Protection: Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher daily throughout the course of your treatment. This helps protect the skin and preserves results.
Hair Removal Methods: To ensure the laser can effectively target the hair root, avoid bleaching, plucking, or waxing for six weeks prior to treatment. These methods remove the hair from the follicle, which must remain intact for the laser to work.
Depilatory Creams: Please do not use depilatory (hair removal) creams in the week leading up to your appointment, as they may cause skin sensitivity.
Self-Tanners: Discontinue use of any self-tanning products at least two weeks before treatment. Skin should be free from artificial colour to allow safe and accurate laser application.
